AGE GROUP TENT DETAILS:
***Please do not enter the Age Group Tent area to either check in your swimmers or to set up your own chairs until AFTER set up is complete.
Check In: Drop your swimmers off at their appropriate age group tent and check them in with the age group parent. Make sure they are sun-screened and marked up BEFORE you leave the area :) Events on arm, name on back of shoulder. See instructions. Also, please don’t remove your child from their tent (bathroom/concessions) unless you notify the Age Group Parent.
Check Out: Notify the Age Group Parent when you’re leaving for the day and actively check them out.
Allergy Alert: If your child has a severe allergy please ensure you have appropriate medication (e.g. Epi-Pen) on hand and inform the Age Group parents. We are often in grasses or parking lots during meets. If you child has a bee, fire ant or other insect allergy please come prepared.
We have children with severe nut allergies and ask families to help us be a Peanut and Tree Nut free team. Please refrain from bringing food containing nuts to the swim meets. Children hang out in Age Group tents and contact may be unavoidable. Nutella contains nuts.
Visiting Team Zoos:
We have a new zoo setup for 2022. Visiting teams’ zoos will now be in the back parking lot. Teams will be able to use both the parking lot and grassy area behind it to set up tents and for parents to set up chairs and shade structures. Here is a map of the new meet setup.
Outside chairs and tents are not allowed inside the pool area per Circle C Aquatics policies. If you bring your own chairs or shade structures please set them up in the area under the trees or near the sport court (for Circle C Seals) or behind your kids’ zoos (for visiting teams). Deck chairs will be out for spectators to sit on in the pool area. Please be mindful of the pathway for swimmers to the ready bench and keep that area clear. Signs and cones will be posted to indicate where that pathway is.
We will have a full concession stand run by the Circle C Cafe throughout the meet. Breakfast tacos, coffee, water, Gatorade, sodas, snacks, and lunch food will be available.
We are requesting both the Seals team and our visitors to avoid parking on the residential streets around the pool (in particular Dedham Lane across Escarpment Blvd)
Instead, please park at one of 3 places:
(1) Circle C CDC East Preschool CDC East Preschool Parking
(2) Along Lacrosse Ave
(3) Along Escarpment Blvd
In addition to parking in the locations requested, we’d like to remind everyone to also please obey all traffic laws for parking, pedestrian crossing, and driving – all with the understanding that we want to ensure a safe environment AND we don’t want any ‘reminders’ from police that we must do so. Finally, we want the Seals and the League to be considered ‘good neighbors’ within Circle C – please be courteous of our neighbors and not block driveways, etc. Thanks in advance for your consideration! Please use this map as a reference. The main entrance to the pool will be closed.
