2026 Seals Coaches
I am so ecstatic and grateful to be on the coaching staff for the Circle C Seals this summer! As Head Coach, I am looking forward to joining the incredible community of swimmers, families, and coaches that make up the Seals.
Swimming has been an important part of my life dating back to when I followed my older brothers into summer league swimming at the age of 3. As a swimmer, I was a TAGS and Sectionals qualifier, 4-year Texas High School State Championship qualifier, and 4-year collegiate swimmer for Trinity University. Although I was not the fastest swimmer on any team I was on, I know that swimming has brought so much joy and so many positive experiences into my life. I credit my time in summer league swimming for instilling a love of the sport that continues to this day!
Since finishing my swimming career, I have gained seven years of coaching experience at the summer league, club, and high school levels. I have also been a coach at Longhorns’ Swim Camp at UT. I currently work as a school counselor for AISD. As a coach, I strive to create an environment where all swimmers feel safe, have fun, grow, and develop positive relationships.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy COOKING, walking (occasionally running), traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. Let's make this a great summer! Go Seals!

I’m Coach Summer! This will be my 13th year swimming with the Seals and my second year as a Coach! I first started swimming with the Seals when I was 6 years old and have been a year round swimmer ever since. Currently, I am a Division 1 Swimmer and student athlete at Northern Arizona University. I also swim for my club team Whitecaps of Westlake. Swimming is my absolute favorite thing and there is no better atmosphere than Summer League. It's the most magical time of the year and what I look forward to every summer. Relays are the BEST! I am beyond excited to dive into the season and see y'all again and share my love for the sport with all of the swimmers and their families. Can’t wait to swim fast and have fun! GO SEALS!

I’m Coach Avery and this will be my 15th season on Seals, with my third year coaching, and I’m beyond excited to be back!! I’m a current student at Texas A&M, studying Pre-Nursing. I started swimming on Seals at age 4, and have swam ever since! Throughout high school I was on the varsity swim team for 4 years, and swam with the Waves of Westlake swim club throughout that time as well. Summer league swim made me fall in love with this sport and I can’t wait to share the joy with many other swimmers! This community will always be my favorite, the meets are fun and exciting, and I love watching everyone race and cheer on their teammates! This team holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait for another season! Go Seals!! 🧡🧡
Hi Seals! My name is Auggie Sefcik, and this will be my 13th year with the Seals family, and my second year coaching! I am currently finishing up my freshman year at Lafayette College, where I am studying chemical engineering. I have been a competitive swimmer for 12 years in the Austin area (and one year in England), and I just finished my first season competing for my school in the Patriot League. I love swimming, and coaching with the Seals has allowed me to share that love with others! I can’t wait for this season to start, and I am so excited to see y’all at the pool! Go Seals!

I’m Coach Anna and I’m currently at the end of my senior at Bowie High School! This will be my 13th season on the best summer league team ever and my second year as assistant coach! I have been swimming for 13 years now and it’s something I am super passionate about! I started when I was 5 years old in Seals and loved it so much, I joined a year round Club team and have been swimming competitively ever since! My love of swimming has continued in High School and I’ve been on the Bowie Swim and Dive Team for 4 years now. I’ve been so very lucky to have worked with the most amazing coaches over the years and I can’t wait to share my love of swimming with all your little swimmers! I had such a blast last year coaching for the first time and I can’t wait to make this season even better! Go Seals!🧡
I am Elias Sefcik. Upon my 10th year of swimming with Seals I have achieved immeasurably extensive levels of swimming power and knowledge that the entire Circle C Seals team will use to establish Elite degrees of dominance over any and all other teams we swim against. I will personally ensure every single, EVERY single member of the seals team is experiencing extreme levels of fun and learning in the absolute highest regard facilitated by my very own self. To build upon my experience EVEN FURTHER, I have been named as one of the extremely honorable and distinguished CAPTAINS of the Lasa swim and dive team. Thank you very much.
Hi Seals Families! I'm Coach Astrid, and I’m truly so excited to be part of the Seals coaching staff this year! Joining the team the first summer after I moved to Austin was one of the best decisions I could have made. This will be my 3rd year swimming with the Seals and working as a volunteer coach, and I can’t wait to see all the new and familiar faces on the pool deck this summer! I’m currently wrapping up my senior year at Bowie High School and just celebrated another successful swim season with Bowie Swim & Dive. I love swimming and working as a swim coach, whether I’m sharing my experience with younger swimmers or watching them excitedly cheer on their teammates. For me, summer league isn’t about being the fastest or best swimmer; it’s about being part of a team, building lasting friendships, and having an amazing time in and out of the pool. And there’s no better place for that than the Circle C Seals! See you on deck soon!

I’m Coach Kylie and currently finishing up my freshman year at A&M (GIG EM) where I am a Biomedical Sciences major!! I am so excited that I have the opportunity to come back to the Seals this summer! This will be my 11th season swimming with the Seals and my second year as an assistant coach! I started swimming with the Seals during 3rd grade when I first moved to Texas and I absolutely loved everything about it from the excitement of racing to the amazing community! Seals has been such a blessing and I am so excited to share my love for swimming with all the swimmers and families this year! I was so lucky last year to get to work with the best group of coaches last year and just can’t wait to see what this season has in store! Go Seals!!!
Elli is a three time Olympic swimmer for Australia (1992, 1996, 2000). From 2012 to 2015, she was the head coach of the Circle C Seals and loved coaching young swimmers and seeing them improve. While coaching and teaching swimming, Elli authored a children’s book for young swimmers, Jay’s Swimming Journey. From 2015-2024, Elli worked as Director of Sales Marketing for SwimTopia, the company that provides the Seals’ website. Elli has now returned to university to do a Masters in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. She recently opened her own business as a sports parent consultant (peakparentperformance.net). She consults with sports parents on the healthiest and most effective ways to support their children in reaching their potential. Elli is super excited to have a brief chance to work with Coach Ivy and the swimmers of Circle C again this summer. Go Seals!

I am Coach Harper and this will be my 12th year with Seals and my first year as a coach! I am so excited to spend the summer getting to know your families. I am currently at the end of my junior year at Austin High School. I have been a member of the Austin High swim team for 3 years and am involved in many leadership roles within my school and community. Seals is the best time of the year! Seals has given me my best friends, mentors, and endless laughs. Seals has been a pivotal influence on the person I am today. This team holds a very special place in my heart, and it’s a privilege that I get the opportunity to give the same experience to your families. I cannot wait to have the best summer ever!! GO SEALS!!
