Seals 2020 Season Registration is now OPEN!
Good Morning, Seals!
The Summer 2020 Season Registration and Quick Starts Registration in now open! The registration deadline for our return families is on Feb 29th.
Registration
You can find all registration links (2020 Seals Registration, Quick Starts, and the Sabbatical Form) by clicking the green button located on our home page: Seals Home Page or find it directly here: Seals Registration
Please register all swimmers returning AND any siblings that will be trying out for the team. If your new swimmer does not make the team, your registration fee will be refunded.
Siblings
- Age Requirement: Swimmer(s) must turn five by May 1, 2020
- Siblings of returning swimmers automatically secure a spot on the team. HOWEVER, they are still required to tryout for the team by swimming one length of the pool. The tryout will be held at the Circle C Swim Center on March 29th at 2 p.m.
Registration Fees
- Due to an increase in our pool/lane usage fees by the HOA, our registration fee will also increase by $5 for this upcoming season. The registration fee includes a team t-shirt (select size on registration form) and a Seals swim cap.
The updated registration fees are below:
- 1st swimmer $170
- 2nd swimmer $160
- 3rd and more $150
Quick Starts
The Quick Starts program is an optional pre-season session for Seals who would like to fine tune their skills before the season starts! If you are a RETURNING family and would like to participate in quick starts, please register them now - there are a very limited number of slots available to returning swimmers. The sign up links (broken down by age group) can be found with the registration links.
Any NEW swimmers (siblings or selected from the lottery) are eligible to sign up for Quick Starts after they tryout and make the team on March 29th. The sign up will be available once new swimmer registration opens (3/29-4/3). If the session that you'd like to join is full, please contact Coach Colleen at [email protected] to be placed on a wait list or discuss alternate ideas based your child's abilities.
Seals Merchandise
Our very own Seals dad Eddie Brown of Athletic Performance Solutions (APS) is finishing up selections for some sweet extra Seals swag! The Seals Store will go live on our website in the next few weeks, so please keep a look out for the announcement.
Sponsorships
We’re fast, but the team actually doesn’t run on bubbles! Our Sponsorship Operations Coordinator Becky Johnson and her Sponsorship Outreach team, Liz Ferguson and Shannon Lauchert, are already beginning the process of contacting local businesses to sponsor our team. There is an opportunity during registration to streamline the process and Sponsor the Seals now. Based on the level of Sponsorship, we will be continuing the Seals’ Sponsor Spotlight Series (emails profiling/promoting our Sponsors) as well as the T-shirt/Banner logo display and other cool benefits. To learn about our sponsorship opportunities, please use this link: Seals Sponsorships
Sabbatical
Swimmers have the option to take a 1 yr sabbatical from the Seals and then return the following year. A whole family can also do the same without having to re-enter the lottery the following year. The Sabbatical Request can be found with the registration links.
Almost all of our families hit the 40 pt volunteer requirement for last season and we appreciate it! We really do have the best parents and kids in the league! Along with the 40 volunteer pts, your swimmers must register and swim in a minimum of two in-season meets. As we welcome the new families over the next few months we are counting on our more experienced families (YOU) to show them how it's done!
