The season is just around the corner and we have a couple of preseason opportunities for folks who would like to get Stroke and Turn certified this summer.  Stroke and Turn judges are parent volunteer positions that allow you to be up close on deck; the judge's job is to watch swimmer's strokes and turns for compliance to League Regulations. It is a great way to understand the nuts and bolts of swimming. It is also a great way to get volunteer points! 

Seals will not be hosting a clinic this year because we have a deep bench of people who certified last year. Certification is good for 2 years. If you trained last year you are certified to judge this year. Please note if you were certified last year, you are welcome to attend training for a refresher but we will not award you additional points this year for going to training. 

If you would like to attend training, session details are below. We will award 10 points for attending training if you attend training AND work 2 shifts as a judge this season. If you attend training and DO NOT work any shifts, you will only receive 5 points. If you choose to get trained, please do 2 things: 

1. Make sure to get your judge card from the trainer at the end of the session and bring it to the volunteer table at the first meet you attend so we can give you your points. 

2. Email ccsealsvolunteercoordinator@gmail.com and [email protected] so we can add you to our certified judges list.
