Meet Logistics | June 1 @ Belterra
Good afternoon, Seals Parents,
Welcome Back! If you only do two things this week, give Eric Marshall a hug AND make sure to declare your swimmers before 4:00P CDT, Wednesday. You can declare your swimmers here:
https://ccrseals.swimtopia.com/swim_meets/573079/swim_meet_entries
We hope that you are excited to travel to Belterra to swim with the Marlins. Our meet theme will be “80’s”. (If, like me, you are from New Jersey, you are exempt. By our very nature, everything we say and do is “80’s”). ALSO, parents bring your swimsuits, in case we are running ahead of schedule and hold a mid-meet relay with Belterra.
MEET ENTRY DETAILS
https://belterra.swimtopia.com/visiting-team-information
ADDRESS: 801 Belterra Drive 78737
- Sign-ups are limited to three (3) individual events
- As always, if there is any risk in your Saturday plans, do not sign up for relays. There is no other way to say it, rescheduling relays is as fun as singing the Finnish National Anthem, standing in the center of an ice rink in Finland, surrounded by 50,000 screaming fans, wearing only shorts and a t-shirt, when you don’t know a word of Finnish ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFkVqXhP5_0
- The event order will be: 1. IM (fly/back/breast/free) / 2. Butterfly / 3. Backstroke / 4. Freestyle Relay / 5. Freestyle (point where almost every parent questions the amount of caffeine they need to get through a full meet) / 6. Breaststroke / 7. Medley Relay (back/breast/fly/free)
- !METERS! this is a 25 meter pool (an extra 2.34 yards). Meet entry times will look wacky, for now. All times will be converted to yards at the conclusion of the meet – all PRs/records will count. If you would like to do the time conversion on your own, multiply by 0.914. If you can do the conversion on-the-spot, in your head, Matt Howeth and I are planning a trip to Vegas and we would like for you to join us, please

SEALS SPIRIT
Admit it, you missed the orange! The Memorial Day holiday interrupted three consecutive weekends of waking up delirious from lack of sleep to then be jolted awake by a sly pop of Seals orange. Seals orange wakes you up, it clears away the grumpiness, it makes you feel alive. Look alive Saturday and wear Orange
Thanks & Go Seals!
