Howdy Seals Families!

Our hard work over the last few weeks paid off in a big way with a win against the Belterra Marlins yesterday! Our kids definitely showed up ready to race, and looked like they were having a great time on top of that.  The coaches and I noticed improvements in several areas we have targeted in practice, including backstroke starts (!!), dives, and breaststroke/fly arms. We are super proud of the Seals!

A quick note on DQ's: If your swimmer was dq'd for any reason at the meet, or there is something you noticed about your child's swim that you would like for us to check on, please feel free to email me so that I can take a look on it at practice or tell their coach for the day to observe and correct :)

We are back HOME (for the last time this season) this coming weekend for our next meet against the Shady Hollow Stingrays! The meet theme is Hawaiian (in my opinion the best meet theme there is). I'm sure it will be another exciting and fun day of racing!

Looking forward to another great week of sun and fun with our swimmers at practice. The coaches and I are so incredibly grateful for all of the frozen fruit and drinks provided by families over the last few weeks. During these especially hot weeks, please feel free to send your swimmer to practice with a water bottle to offset their dehydration during practice- we sweat when we swim! Reminder that for the remainder of the season, practices will run Tuesday-Friday.

I feel like I have learned so much about summer league coaching in the short time I have worked with your kids. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to spend time with them on deck each day.
