Hello Seals Volunteers (that's you!)

Seals is 100% run by parent volunteers, and our job as the Volunteer Coordinators is to staff the swim meets with our parent volunteers. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Bethany Pendleton & Alison Pendleton here:

Key Points about Volunteering:

• Each family is required to earn 35 Volunteer Points.
• You may not sign up for more than 35 points.
• *NEW* Each family may only sign up for 15 points maximum per swim meet. Plan to volunteer at a minimum of 3 swim meets.
• You will see your kid(s) swim.
• There are enough jobs for each family to earn 35 points. This is NOT musical chairs!
• Learn about all of our volunteer jobs before signing up.

Key Dates:

Sunday, 4/20 8PM

Volunteer Sign Ups for Set Up & Clean Up will open for the entire season (excluding Champs). Please note that for Away Meets, we need people with pick up trucks to transport the tents and equipment. Do not sign up for a Truck Job if you do not own a truck. :)  

Sunday, 4/27 8PM

Volunteer Sign Up will open for the 5/4 Timing Meet & 5/10 meet

• Sunday, May 4: HOME Timing Meet
• May 10th: HOME MEET vs. Belterra

Sunday, 5/11 8PM

Volunteer Sign Ups will open for the 5/17 & 5/31 meets

• May 17th: AWAY MEET @ Shady Hollow
• May 24th: NO MEET | Memorial Day Weekend
• May 31st: HOME MEET vs. Texas School for the Dead (TSD)

Sunday, 6/1 8PM 

Volunteer Sign Ups will open for the 6/7 & 6/14 meets

• June 7th: HOME MEET vs. SAAB (South Austin Area Barracudas)
• June 14th: AWAY MEET @ Western Oaks

Sunday, 6/15 8PM (tentative)

Volunteer Sign Ups will open for Champs & Team Party Help

• June 21st: CHAMPS (details TBD)
• June 22nd: End of Season Team Party

Read Head Parent emails before the meet

Expect to receive an email from the Head Parent over your volunteer role two days before the swim meet. Please READ the email and arrive at the meet with an understanding of your volunteer job, and please bring all required items (which may involve printing & bringing paperwork).

How do you sign up to volunteer?

On the Seals SwimTopia site: https://ccrseals.swimtopia.com/

Create a SwimTopia account for each parent/guardian, and after signing in you will see Volunteer Sign Ups in the right hand column.

Volunteer Sign Ups will close the Wednesday prior to the swim meet at 5PM.

Something come up and you can't volunteer? Delete your sign up. 

If it's after Wednesday at 5PM, please email the the Volunteer Coordinators.

How you get your Volunteer Points?

Sign up to volunteer. Read the email you'll get from the Head Parent over your job. Show up on time to volunteer. Complete your job and don't leave early. Remember to bring any required items that you need for your job. Have fun watching your kid(s) swim!

When you arrive at the swim meet, please check in with us at the Volunteer Coordinator Tent to sign in for your volunteer job and receive a badge.
