Seals Truck and Shed Clean-up Crew Notes - Saturday June 14th
Hello all,
Thank you for volunteering this week and for supporting your kids and the team. This week the Seal Team Clean-up & Shed packing efforts will be led by legendary team set-up guru Matt Howeth. (I will be at the meet, however, will need to race out after).
As the swim meet starts to near the end, he will meet you all near the volunteer table (This is our rallying point). Since this is an away meet, the clean up crew can often get a head start on the younger swimmer tends. I’d plan to check in towards the end of Breast stroke heats and at the start of the IM relay heats
Please ensure you check in and sign in with them at the volunteer table. To earn your points, you must stay until all the shed pack up is completed. Please be on time.
Here is what I sent the cleanup crew: Step #1 Break down all the tents. Step #2 carry all the tents to a loading area (A spot near where the trucks can pull up). Matt will identify. Step #3 help load the trucks and take a final walk through to ensure we do not leave anything behind.
As soon as folks begin to leave, try to get your trucks pulled up as close as possible to where the tents and stuff can be loaded. Matt will lead the packing up of the shed
It’s going to be hot. I’m sure Matt would appreciate as much help if clean up is going slow.
PLASE NOTE: If you have any last-minute schedule changes, please contact our Volunteer Coordinators, Bethany Pendleton and Alison Pendleton via email at [email protected]
Thank you all,
Matt Howeth - (512) 820-6668 (cell) / [email protected]
