Champs Clean Up Trucks - Saturday, June 21
Hello all,
Thank you for volunteering for Champs and for supporting your kids and the team. I am George Dugan, and I will be there on Saturday to help coordinate the clean-up efforts. I have two boys on the team, a 13-year-old Jackson and a 10-year-old Carter. My last year of spending 12+ hours at Champs 😊
Below is what I sent the clean up crew. Attached is also the pool map. The parking lot takes a few minutes to clear out, once safe, I would look to pull up close along the fence near the swimmer check in (We usually find a spot there to start stacking tents). We will all help load up your trucks. Once fully packed we will meet back at the Circle C Pool Shed, unload and pack up shed.
As the Swim meet starts to near the end, I will meet you all near the volunteer table (This is our rallying point). I will send a second email with an estimated ETA once heat sheets get posted. Historically Champs does a good job, especially in the afternoon when its 11+ year olds of moving things along well. Meet is scheduled to end no later than 8PM, I’d expect Champs to be running ahead.
Please ensure you check in and sign in with them at the volunteer table. Checking in early so that we know you are there is always appreciated. My oldest Jackson will be swimming Breast and the IM Relay, so I’ll be around the pool and not hard to find.
I’ll be helping with Set up and will have a good idea of # tents and where they are all located. Our team is always located 1st along the fence on the Kinds Zoo side. We will also have tents on the opposite side of the pool in the SPECTATORS/FAMILIES area for Seals parents. (Historically we can grab and pack these up early).
PLASE NOTE: If you have any last-minute schedule changes, please contact our Volunteer Coordinators, Bethany Pendleton and Alison Pendleton via email at [email protected]
Thank you all,
