Seals Clean Up Crew Notes & Instructions

"May the odds be ever in your favor."  Congratulations, you did it, you made it through and successfully navigated the first round of volunteer sign-ups.

My name is George Dugan and I head up the Seals clean-up efforts.  I have two boys on the Team Jackson (14) and Carter (11).  Best method to reach me is (713) 299-1235

Because this is a timing meet and there are no relay events, we will be able to work smart and get a head start on breaking down some stuff prior to the meet officially ending.  Please make your way to the volunteer table (Critical that you check in with them) as the meet starts to finish up (Think around ~0:30 till the last swim once the heat sheets come out).  Please note that the volunteer table will have a new location from previous seasons. Make a point to locate it earlier in the meet.

Goals for clean up:

#1 Clear the pool area (everything inside the pool center fence is our top priority).

#2 Clear the Zoo (where the kids tents mostly are on the park side of the swim center fence).

#3 Carry all items to the shed and help put items back into the shed.

Tips for a successful clean up:

+ Buddy system, pair up, some of these items are heavy and it also is safer for all to work in pairs.

+ Stage disassembled tents, chairs, etc... just outside the pool center fence area first.  Once pool center is completely clear, then we work together to carry all items to the team shed.

+ Be safe and if a spectator is near you, make sure to politely ask that they move if close to where you are working.

Thank you all for supporting the Seals and your kids.  See you Saturday!
