MEET LOGISTICS: Saturday May 16th vs HAYS
Good Afternoon, Team Seals,
On Saturday, we host the Tidal Wave from Hays Swim Club at 8:00 AM. This week's Meet Logistics email is more to the point, contains less blabbering (no gifs!), and has far fewer jests at my friend Richard. Many of you are beyond thankful for this. For those of you who may be disappointed, I promise to entertain the rest of the season!
LAST CALL ON PARKING RAFFLE - DRAWING THURSDAY!!! TICKETS AVAILABLE AT PRACTICE TODAY AND THURSDAY OR ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!

FIRST THINGS FIRST:
Event sign-ups are open and close on Wednesday at 6:00 PM CDT. TODAY. IN THREE HOURS! You can declare your swimmers here: Declare your swimmer(s) here!
- We are limiting the number of individual events to three (3)
- As always, if there is any risk in your Saturday plans, do not sign up for relays. Rescheduling relays is as fun as playing musical chairs with Richard. (#Throwback #Professional #OverlyModestAboutHisAccomplishments ... Ask Richard if you're confused.)
- The event order will be: 1. IM (fly/back/breast/free) / 2. Butterfly / 3. Backstroke / 4. Freestyle Relay / 5. Freestyle / 6. Breaststroke / 7. Medley Relay (back/breast/fly/free)

MEET THEME:
Our Meet Theme will be Hawaiian! Do your best to deck yourselves out in all your Hawaiian garb and Cabana Wear ... bonus points if it's Orange and Black. If you don't have Hawaiian OR Cabana Wear, default to orange (or black, or both)!
AND ...
Parents, bring your swimsuits for a S.E.A.L.'s relay (following the freestyle relays)! That's Seriously Entertaining And Laughable. Given the expected timeline (pretty quick), this week's S.E.A.L.s relay could involves paddles, boogie boards, and/or whatever other items we may find in the shed.
Final details to be confirmed! Please come to the DJ booth as the freestyle relays are finishing to register your team! WE WOULD LOVE to see a Circle C Dads AND Circle C Moms team step up to compete with our coaches!

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY:
We are all excited to capture the special moments of Seals! However, there should absolutely be NO one on the deck directly behind the starting or finish area taking photos or video. This includes volunteers who are on deck.
Thank you for understanding. Snap and film to your device's limitations from the south side of the pool, or from the hillside (above the Ready Bench walkway).
Join our Circle C Seals Photos Facebook Group to share your photos and view excellent, live action images from Andrew Ong! Thank you so much, Andrew!!

FURTHER DETAILS:
- Volunteer changes should be made before Wednesday (today) at 6:00 PM. If you have any last minute changes, please contact our Volunteer Coordinators, Heidi & Katrina at ccsealsvolunteercoordinator
@gmail.com - There is NO parking on Escarpment. Please park on LaCrosse, east of Escarpment. The CDC and Kiker parking lots are open to Seals families and our guests. Also: please do not park in the spots reserved for mail pickup
- Drop and pick-up in the Plaza Circle is also an option
- Did we mention a parking raffle?
- There is no playing in the sand (kids and adults), no littering, and no leaving without signing your child out. Seriously - do not put tent parents through the hassle of chasing down missing kids. Alert them that you have your child.
- We will have a clearly marked Spectator Zone (!!!) along the Escarpment fence line on the third terrace of the pool complex. Think of it like a zoo for parents between their swimmer's events.
- In this Spectator Zone, lawn chairs will be allowed <<gasp!>> All lawn chairs *must remain* in the Spectator Zone.
- In front of this Spectator Zone is a walkway that must remain open, per Circle C Aquatics staff. This will be clearly marked with blue cones. Please, no chairs in the blue cone walkway!
- You are also welcome to sit in the Circle C Park (just not in the Seals Zoo!)
- Once again, all lawn chairs *must remain* in the Spectator Zone. You will not be permitted to camp out by the pool deck. In fact, you will not be permitted to camp out anywhere. Please do not bring your own canopy tents.
- You may flow down to the pool deck to watch your swimmer's heat, then return to the Spectator Zone. This allows all families to see their swimmers in action!
- I must emphasize that we remain guests of Circle C Aquatics. Any and all instructions provided to you by a member of Circle C Aquatics staff must be followed. Failure to do so may result in the loss of said Spectator Zone.
