The Timing Meet is both a chance for parents and swimmers alike to learn/remember how a swim meet feels as well as to set times for strokes so that the swimmer is more appropriately seeded in future competitions. Because we are setting individual times, and because it is only the Seals, we do not run relays at the Timing Meet, so do not worry about your relay eligibility. This year, we will only be swimming Free and Back at the Timing Meet, since the meet is happening on a Saturday night and we want to wrap up as early as possible. If you cannot attend the meet, it is really important you answer that you will not attend. A non-answer is not an answer. |
